WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING…

Two things happened: It snowed, and the sun, the moon, and the Earth aligned perfectly creating a full lunar eclipse. Confused by the sound of my alarm at 3 am, I crawled out of my warm bed, wrapped myself in a blanket and headed out to the back porch to bear witness to the blood moon with my own naked eyes. The blood moon gets its name from the rusty-orange glow projected onto the moon by the sun as it passes through the atmosphere. Unfortunately, for all of us living in Toronto, the eclipse was hard to find - in our dismal weather situation - but the sky was full of magic. The power of this morning’s full moon lunar eclipse is nothing to pshaw at. As we move into Libra, we may experience some challenging feelings and repressed emotions bubbling up from deep inside of us. Allow them to surface, acknowledge them, and then let them go. This full moon asks us to bear witness to these icky feelings, and trust me, they are not new - they have been festering for some time now. You know them well and no matter how badly you want to resist and avoid them, FEEL IT THROUGH - no matter how RAW. Resist the racing minds desire to over-analyze everything that comes up – insights and healing will come later, I promise. The potent combination of our experiences, our integrity, our values, our commitments, relationships and our ability to stay awake to our lives with courage and faith breeds’ both the wisdom and strength needed to clear away that which does not serve the highest good. TRANSFORM NOW. Don’t wait. There is a deep purging and cleansing occurring. RESTORE harmony and balance, especially on an emotional level. This is heart healing work. Don’t mess around. 

For a star to be born, there is one thing that must happen: 

a gaseous nebula must collapse.

So collapse. 

Crumble. 

This is not your destruction.

This is your birth.
